I'm Tana Hughes (Yes, pronounced like Montana. Nope, not short for it.) I was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona, and still reside in the sonoran desert.

As a proud graduate of the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Arizona State University, my early aspirations of becoming a sports broadcaster took an unexpected turn, guided by the serendipity of an elective photography course.

Fast forward almost a decade, and here I am, the heart and soul behind my own photography/freelance business. However, this is just a small part of my career. I've worked in professional sports, starting as an intern for the Arizona Coyotes to contributing my expertise to the digital landscape of the Phoenix Suns and Phoenix Mercury.

From the NBA draft lottery to the euphoria of the Western Conference champs, I've witnessed and documented it all.

Life, however, had its own plans. In 2020, faced with a health diagnosis, I shifted gears to prioritize self-care. This landed me in a new chapter, where I now spearhead digital marketing for a national construction firm.

My freelance business is my creative sanctuary—a realm where I channel my passion for storytelling. It serves as a canvas for capturing the essence of pure, unfiltered moments. Whether it's the energy of live sports or the subtleties of everyday life, I find joy in freezing these moments in time.
